Description

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)
  • 2 green onions, sliced (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger.
  2. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Cook chicken until browned on both sides.
  3. Pour the sauce over the chicken and simmer for 10-12 minutes, turning halfway.
  4. Mix cornstarch and water, then stir into the sauce to thicken it.
  5. Remove from heat, garnish with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.

Notes

  • For a thicker sauce, add more cornstarch.
  • If the sauce is too salty, balance with a little more honey.
