Description

Ingredients

  • 6 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced strawberries, granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons of flour, and lemon juice. Toss gently to coat the strawberries.
  3. Pour the strawberry mixture into an 8×8 inch baking dish.
  4. In a separate medium bowl, combine the 1/2 cup flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Mix well.
  5. Pour the melted butter over the oat mixture and stir until combined and crumbly.
  6. Sprinkle the oat topping evenly over the strawberries.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the strawberries are bubbly.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
