- 1 baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
- 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
- 4 ounces goat cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Pinch of black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet. Brush lightly with olive oil.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until lightly golden and toasted.
- In a small bowl, combine diced strawberries, balsamic glaze, basil, honey, and black pepper. Stir gently.
- Spread softened goat cheese evenly over each toasted baguette slice.
- Top each bruschetta with the strawberry mixture.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can lightly toast the basil before chopping.
- If you don’t have balsamic glaze, you can reduce balsamic vinegar in a saucepan until it thickens.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 day, but they are best enjoyed fresh.
