Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8×8 inch baking pan.
- In a medium bowl, combine the melted butter and granulated sugar. Whisk until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Gently fold in the finely diced fresh strawberries.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
- Let the brownies cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
- While the brownies cool, prepare the glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, strawberry puree, and lemon juice (if using) until smooth and pourable.
- Once the brownies are completely cool, pour the glaze over them and spread evenly.
- Allow the glaze to set before slicing and serving.

- For a richer strawberry flavor, you can use freeze-dried strawberry powder in the brownie batter.
