Description

These spinach and feta turkey burgers are a healthy and flavorful alternative to traditional beef burgers. They are easy to make and perfect for a quick weeknight meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 4 burger buns
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, onion, tzatziki sauce

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, chopped spinach, crumbled feta cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix gently until just combined. Do not overmix.
  3. Form the mixture into four equal patties.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  5. Cook the turkey burgers for 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through and no longer pink in the center.
  6. Serve the burgers on buns with your favorite toppings.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the mixture.
  • These burgers can be grilled instead of pan-fried.
