Description

A refreshing and flavorful salad featuring smoked mackerel, earthy beets, and crisp apples, complemented by a light mustard dressing. This salad is perfect for a light lunch or a sophisticated starter.


Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 apple, cored and thinly sliced
  • 2 cooked beets, peeled and diced
  • 100g smoked mackerel fillets, flaked
  • 50g mixed greens or spinach
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley or chives for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, vinegar, Dijon mustard, sugar, salt, and pepper to create the dressing.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced apple, diced beets, flaked smoked mackerel, and mixed greens.
