- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Divide ground beef into small balls and place them in the skillet.
- Press each ball into a thin patty using a spatula.
- Season patties with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Cook patties for 2-3 minutes per side until browned.
- Remove patties and set aside.
- In the same skillet, place a tortilla and sprinkle half with cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese.
- Add cooked beef patties on top of the cheese.
- Fold the tortilla in half and press lightly.
- Cook for 1-2 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
- Repeat with remaining tortillas.
- Slice into wedges and serve.
Notes
- Use a heavy spatula to press the beef patties thin.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Add jalapeños or pickles for extra flavor.
