Description

Tender, juicy slow cooker brisket cooked to perfection with minimal effort. Perfect for family dinners or gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 3 lbs beef brisket
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the brisket on both sides until browned.
  2. Place sliced onions and minced garlic in the slow cooker.
  3. Add the seared brisket on top.
  4. In a bowl, mix beef broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, thyme, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Pour the mixture over the brisket.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 5-6 hours.
  7. Remove the brisket, slice, and serve with cooking liquid as sauce.

Notes

  • For extra tenderness, let the brisket rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  • You can add carrots or potatoes for a complete meal.
