Description

This sheet pan shrimp boil is an easy way to enjoy a classic seafood meal with minimal cleanup. Shrimp, sausage, corn, and potatoes are tossed with a flavorful seasoning blend and roasted together on a single sheet pan.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 12 ounces smoked sausage, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
  • 2 ears corn, each cut into 4 pieces
  • 1 pound small red potatoes, quartered
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Lemon wedges, for serving
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the quartered potatoes and 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Toss to coat evenly.
  3. Spread the potatoes in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Roast for 15 minutes.
  4. While the potatoes are roasting, in the same large bowl, combine the shrimp, sliced sausage, corn pieces, remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Toss until everything is well coated.
  5. Remove the baking sheet from the oven. Add the shrimp mixture to the baking sheet with the potatoes. Spread everything into a single layer.
  6. Return the baking sheet to the oven and roast for another 12-15 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and cooked through and the potatoes are tender.
  7. Remove from the oven. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately with lemon wedges.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of Old Bay seasoning to your preference for more or less spice.
  • For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the seasoning blend.
  • Any type of smoked sausage works well in this recipe, such as beef smoked sausage or chicken sausage.
  • If you don’t have small red potatoes, you can use other small potato varieties, just ensure they are cut into uniform pieces for even cooking.
