Description

These salmon patties are flavorful and easy to make, perfect for a quick meal. The lemon yogurt sauce adds a bright, tangy finish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (14.75 ounce) can salmon, drained and flaked
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon fresh dill, chopped
  • Pinch of salt and pepper for sauce

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the flaked salmon, bread crumbs, egg, onion, parsley, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Mix well.
  2. Form the mixture into four equal patties.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Carefully place the patties in the hot skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and heated through.
  5. While the patties are cooking, prepare the lemon yogurt sauce. In a small bowl, whisk together the plain yogurt, lemon juice, chopped dill, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
  6. Serve the salmon patties hot with a dollop of lemon yogurt sauce.
