Description
These salmon patties are flavorful and easy to make, perfect for a quick meal. The lemon yogurt sauce adds a bright, tangy finish.

- 1 (14.75 ounce) can salmon, drained and flaked
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon fresh dill, chopped
- Pinch of salt and pepper for sauce
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the flaked salmon, bread crumbs, egg, onion, parsley, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Mix well.
- Form the mixture into four equal patties.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Carefully place the patties in the hot skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and heated through.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the lemon yogurt sauce. In a small bowl, whisk together the plain yogurt, lemon juice, chopped dill, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Serve the salmon patties hot with a dollop of lemon yogurt sauce.
Notes
- You can use fresh salmon that has been cooked and flaked if preferred.
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of garlic powder to the patties.
- These patties are also great served on a bun as a sandwich.
