- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 36 chocolate kisses, unwrapped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, butter, and peanut butter until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Roll dough into 1-inch balls. Roll each ball in granulated sugar until fully coated.
- Place cookies 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.
- Immediately press a chocolate kiss into the center of each hot cookie.
- Let cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
