Description

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 36 chocolate kisses, unwrapped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, butter, and peanut butter until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Roll dough into 1-inch balls. Roll each ball in granulated sugar until fully coated.
  7. Place cookies 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.
  9. Immediately press a chocolate kiss into the center of each hot cookie.
  10. Let cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
