Description

Simple and delicious roasted broccoli with Parmesan cheese, perfect as a side dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, toss broccoli florets with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Spread the broccoli in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Roast for 15 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, and toss gently.
  6. Return to oven and roast for another 5-10 minutes, or until broccoli is tender-crisp and cheese is golden brown.
  7. Serve immediately.

  • For extra crispiness, roast for a few additional minutes.
