- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, combine the Parmesan cheese, parsley, chives, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Press the Parmesan-herb mixture evenly onto the top of each salmon fillet.
- Heat the olive oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
- Once the oil is shimmering, carefully place the salmon fillets, crust-side down, into the skillet.
- Cook for 3-5 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and crispy.
- Carefully flip the salmon fillets.
- Cook for another 3-5 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time will vary based on thickness.
- Remove the salmon from the skillet and let it rest for a minute or two.
- Serve immediately, optionally with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.
