- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 4 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and thyme.
- Melt 2 tbsp butter in a large pan over medium heat. Add chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, melt remaining butter. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil. Add noodles and simmer for 8-10 minutes until tender.
- Return chicken to pan, cover, and cook for 5 more minutes.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan and parsley before serving.
Notes
- Use wide egg noodles for best texture.
- Add vegetables like peas or mushrooms if desired.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
