Description

Easy-to-make mashed potatoes prepared in a crockpot, perfect for meal prep or large gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 5 lbs russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chicken or vegetable broth

Instructions

  1. Place peeled and cubed potatoes in the crockpot.
  2. Add milk, butter, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until potatoes are tender.
  4. Mash potatoes with a potato masher or hand mixer.
  5. Stir in sour cream and broth until smooth.
