Description
A simple and delicious side dish of tender carrots coated in a sweet glaze.
Ingredients

- 1 lb carrots, peeled and sliced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Boil carrots in water for 5 minutes until slightly tender.
- Drain water and return carrots to the pan.
- Add butter, brown sugar, honey, salt, and pepper.
- Cook on medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring often.
- Garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh carrots for best texture.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less sugar.
- Replace honey with maple syrup if preferred.
