Description
Crispy chicken wings coated in a savory garlic parmesan sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs chicken wings, split at the joint, wingtips removed
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken wings and toss to coat evenly.
- Arrange the coated wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- While the wings are baking, prepare the sauce. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese.
- Once the wings are done, transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the garlic parmesan sauce over the wings and toss to coat thoroughly.
- Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crispy wings, pat them dry with paper towels before coating in flour.
- Adjust the amount of garlic and Parmesan cheese to your taste preferences.
- These wings are great as an appetizer or a main dish.
