Description
Tender steak bites cooked in a rich garlic butter sauce, perfect for a quick and flavorful meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1.5 pounds sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Pat the steak bites dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Add half of the steak bites to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- Repeat with the remaining steak bites.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the skillet and let it melt.
- Add minced garlic and Italian seasoning to the butter. Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Return all the cooked steak bites to the skillet. Toss to coat them in the garlic butter sauce.
- Cook for another 1-2 minutes until heated through and well coated.
- Remove from heat. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Do not overcrowd the pan when searing the steak, as this can steam the meat instead of browning it.
- Adjust the amount of garlic and Italian seasoning to your preference.
- These steak bites are excellent served with mashed potatoes, rice, or a simple green salad.
