Description

Tender steak bites cooked in a rich garlic butter sauce, perfect for a quick and flavorful meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 pounds sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat the steak bites dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Add half of the steak bites to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Repeat with the remaining steak bites.
  5. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the skillet and let it melt.
  6. Add minced garlic and Italian seasoning to the butter. Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  7. Return all the cooked steak bites to the skillet. Toss to coat them in the garlic butter sauce.
  8. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until heated through and well coated.
  9. Remove from heat. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Do not overcrowd the pan when searing the steak, as this can steam the meat instead of browning it.
  • Adjust the amount of garlic and Italian seasoning to your preference.
  • These steak bites are excellent served with mashed potatoes, rice, or a simple green salad.
