Description

This Garlic Butter Salmon and Asparagus recipe is a quick and flavorful meal perfect for any night of the week. Salmon fillets are baked with tender asparagus spears in a rich garlic butter sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 pounds salmon fillets, about 1-inch thick
  • 1 pound asparagus, tough ends trimmed
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 45 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place the salmon fillets on one side of the prepared baking sheet. Arrange the asparagus spears on the other side.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour half of the garlic butter mixture over the salmon fillets and the remaining half over the asparagus.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork, and the asparagus is tender-crisp.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Adjust baking time based on the thickness of your salmon fillets.
  • For extra flavor, sprinkle with red pepper flakes before baking.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
