Description

A simple and refreshing Korean side dish made with crunchy bean sprouts, seasoned lightly for a crisp texture and mild flavor.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh bean sprouts
  • 1 green onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp sesame seeds
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Rinse the bean sprouts and drain well.
  2. Bring a pot of water to boil, add the bean sprouts, and blanch for 1 minute.
  3. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop cooking.
  4. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, garlic, and salt.
  5. Add the bean sprouts and green onion, tossing to coat evenly.
  6. Sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
