Description

Ingredients

  • 4 large bell peppers (any color)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 cup shredded cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Cut tops off peppers and remove seeds.
  3. Brown beef with onion and garlic.
  4. Stir in rice, tomato sauce, salt, pepper, and oregano.
  5. Stuff peppers with beef mixture.
  6. Place peppers in baking dish.
  7. Top with shredded cheese.
  8. Bake 30 minutes.
