Ingredients

  • 1 head butter lettuce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup water chestnuts, chopped
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and ginger, sauté for 30 seconds.
  3. Add ground chicken and cook until no longer pink.
  4. Mix in soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil.
  5. Stir in water chestnuts and green onions, cook for 2 more minutes.
  6. Spoon mixture into washed lettuce leaves.
  7. Serve immediately.
