Description

Easy slow cooker teriyaki chicken with sweet and savory flavors.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix teriyaki sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and rice vinegar.
  3. Pour sauce over chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
  5. Remove chicken and shred.
  6. Mix cornstarch and water, then stir into the sauce.
  7. Return chicken to crockpot and cook for 15 more minutes.
  8. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

  • Use low-sodium teriyaki sauce if preferred.
  • Serve over rice or noodles.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
