Description

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of bread, cubed and dried
  • 1 cup of chopped celery
  • 1 cup of chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup of butter
  • 2 cups of chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of dried sage
  • 1 teaspoon of dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the celery and onion, cooking until softened.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the bread cubes, cooked vegetables, salt, pepper, sage, and thyme.
  5. Gradually add the chicken broth, stirring until the bread is moistened.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
