- 3 cups powdered sugar

- 12 ounces chocolate chips (milk, semi-sweet, or dark)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable shortening or coconut oil (optional, for smoother coating)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, cream together the peanut butter and softened butter until well combined.
- Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing until a thick dough forms.
- Stir in the crushed pretzels until evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
- Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Refrigerate the balls for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips with the shortening (if using) in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Dip each chilled peanut butter ball into the melted chocolate, coating completely. Use a fork or a toothpick to help.
- Place the chocolate-covered balls back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Refrigerate again until the chocolate is set, about 15-30 minutes.
Notes
- For extra crunch, sprinkle some additional crushed pretzels on top of the chocolate before it sets.
