Description
A quick and easy one-pan Chinese beef and broccoli dish that tastes just like take-out.
Ingredients

- 1 lb flank steak, sliced thin
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- Add beef slices and cook until browned, about 3 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add garlic and ginger, cook for 30 seconds.
- Add broccoli and stir-fry for 2 minutes.
- Mix soy sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, and beef broth in a bowl.
- Pour sauce into the pan and stir until thickened.
- Return beef to the pan and toss everything together.
- Drizzle with sesame oil and serve hot.
Notes
- Slice beef against the grain for tenderness.
- Adjust soy sauce based on salt preference.
- For crispier broccoli, blanch before stir-frying.
