Ingredients

- 1 cup pitted cherries (fresh or frozen, thawed)
- 1/2 cup vanilla protein powder
- 1/4 cup rolled oats
- 2 tablespoons almond butter
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (alcohol-free)
- 1–2 tablespoons water (as needed for consistency)
- Optional: 1-2 tablespoons shredded coconut for coating
Instructions
- Combine cherries, protein powder, rolled oats, almond butter, chia seeds, and vanilla extract in a food processor.
- Pulse until the mixture comes together and forms a sticky dough.
- If the mixture is too dry, add water one tablespoon at a time until the desired consistency is reached.
- Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls.
- If desired, roll the balls in shredded coconut to coat.
- Place the protein balls in an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
Notes
- Store protein balls in the refrigerator for up to one week.
- You can use any type of protein powder you prefer.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding a touch of maple syrup or honey if desired.
- For a different flavor, try adding a pinch of cinnamon or a different fruit.
