Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup beef broth
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add onions and garlic, cook until soft.
- Add ground beef, salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook until browned.
- Layer half the potatoes in a baking dish.
- Spread half the beef mixture over the potatoes.
- Repeat layers.
- Pour beef broth over the top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove foil, sprinkle cheese on top, and bake for 15 more minutes.
Notes
- Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
