Description

Crispy and flavorful broccoli fritters, perfect as a snack or side dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 head broccoli, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the finely chopped broccoli, flour, Parmesan cheese, beaten eggs, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until everything is combined.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Drop spoonfuls of the broccoli mixture into the hot oil, flattening them slightly with the back of a spoon to form fritters.
  4. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Remove the fritters from the skillet and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
  6. Serve warm.

Notes

  • You can add other vegetables like grated carrots or corn to the mixture.
  • Serve with your favorite dipping sauce, such as yogurt dip or marinara.
  • Leftover fritters can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in a pan or oven.
