- 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1/4 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional, for added sweetness)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Combine rolled oats, vanilla protein powder, applesauce, almond butter, almond milk, blueberries, maple syrup (if using), vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt in a large bowl.
- Mix everything together until well combined. The mixture should be thick and slightly sticky.
- Roll the mixture into bite-sized balls (about 1 inch in diameter).
- Place the protein bites on a plate or baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow them to firm up.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5-7 days.
Notes
- You can use any type of protein powder you prefer.
- If the mixture is too dry, add a little more almond milk, one teaspoon at a time.
- If the mixture is too wet, add a little more rolled oats or protein powder.
- For an extra boost of flavor, you can add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg.
- These bites can also be frozen for longer storage. Thaw in the refrigerator before serving.
