Ingredients

- 1/2 cup red onion, finely diced
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Pinch of black pepper
Instructions
- Wash and chop the broccoli into small florets.
- In a large bowl, combine the broccoli florets, red onion, dried cranberries, and sunflower seeds.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Pour the dressing over the broccoli mixture.
- Toss gently until all ingredients are evenly coated.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
Notes
- For a crunchier texture, toast the sunflower seeds before adding them.
- You can substitute other dried fruits like raisins or chopped apricots.
- Add cooked, crumbled beef bacon for extra flavor.
