Description

A simple and flavorful side dish featuring roasted broccoli and carrots with an Asian-inspired glaze.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cups carrots, sliced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
  3. Toss broccoli and carrots with olive oil and black pepper.
  4. Spread vegetables on a baking sheet.
  5. Roast for 20-25 minutes until tender.
  6. Drizzle with the sauce and sprinkle sesame seeds.
  7. Serve hot.
