- 1/4 cup almond butter
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

- Pinch of salt
- Optional: 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts or pecans
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the rolled oats, unsweetened applesauce, almond butter, maple syrup, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined and a sticky dough forms.
- If using, stir in the chopped walnuts or pecans.
- Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls.
- Place the oat balls on a plate or baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow them to firm up.
- Serve chilled and enjoy.
Notes
- Store leftover oat balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
- For extra protein, add a scoop of your favorite protein powder to the mixture.
- If the mixture is too sticky, add a little more rolled oats. If it’s too dry, add a bit more applesauce or almond butter.
