A soothing and flavorful chicken soup infused with turmeric and anti-inflammatory ingredients to boost your health.


Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 lb chicken breast, cubed
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 carrot, sliced
  • 1 celery stalk, chopped
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add onion, garlic, and ginger. Sauté for 2 minutes.
  3. Stir in turmeric and black pepper, cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add chicken and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  6. Add carrot and celery. Simmer for 15 minutes.
  7. Stir in spinach and lemon juice. Cook for 2 more minutes.
  8. Season with salt. Serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
  • Replace chicken breast with thighs for a richer taste.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
